We Believe

-That all are created equal, that all are naturally owed certain rights simply due to their existence, that among these are Life, Liberty, Equity, Education, and the pursuit of Happiness.

–That these rights are not inalienable due to their needing to be secured,

–That in an effort to secure these rights, Governments were instituted among populaces, deriving their powers from the consent of the Governed,

–That among these is the power to restrict from the public access to certain items or information in order to best protect and maintain the natural rights of the Governed,

–That whenever any Form of Government abuses their control of items and information in order to manufacture consent for any reason, it is the Right of the People to ensure that items and information both restricted from and disseminated by the Government to the Governed is complete, timely, accurate, and free of any biases,

–That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to either form civil organizations to act as a counterbalance, or to institute new Government, laying their foundations on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to affect their Safety and Happiness.

We the people, brought into an existence where Governments purportedly exist to acknowledge and maintain the rights and protections of individuals who fall under their respective areas of responsibility, in order to reinforce the pillars of accountability necessary to maintain a foundation of trust between the Government and the Governed, do ordain and establish this charter for the Civilian Intelligence National Directorate of Equitable Reporting.
